The Air Pit by Airgym is one of the great innovations in the inflatable gymnastic products domain that holds a patent. The portable Air Pit is a must for sports clubs and schools of all kind who are dealing with landings, do not obtain an in-ground landing pit and/or cope with not enough foam mats because of insufficient storage space. The Air Pit can be used stand-alone in 3 different landing modes or as a base for a higher mat-stack.

Pit mode: Filled with Airgym foam blocks (separately available*) the Air Pit is used as an inground landing pit with foam blocks. Ideal to learn new skills when landings need to be safe but not focused on. The second chamber in the ‘bottom’ is an air-filled Air Track H10 so you won’t land on the gym floor. Foam cubes are not included. 100 pcs 40 x 20 x 20 foam cubes can be ordered separately.

Crash mat mode: Apply the strong PVC Air Pit sheet including hard hook velcro strips to the Air Pit and start training semi-soft landings. Attached, the cover has the same characteristics as an crash mat providing semi-soft landings for your back, stomach and feet.

Platform mode: Flip over the Air Pit to its ‘back’ for firm and steady landings. Increase the air pressure to create a bouncy vaulting box, coaching platform or mat support.

Standard equipped with velcro attachments to connect with other mats. The integrated Track connector allows a fixation to our Airtracks to keep it in place. With only 37 kg and enough carrying handles the Air Pit is moved around easily around the gym to create new settings quickly.
