TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms of Use applies to Gymnastica Ltd.’s web store.
Gymnastica Ltd. follows, in all its actions, the general regulations and recommendations of customer trade, advertising and marketing.
By accepting the Gymnastica Ltd.’s Terms of Sale the customer also agrees to the Responsibilities of the User and Service provider (see below).
Ordering from the website
Items can be ordered online, by telephone, by e-mail or by coming to our shop.
Please note that special order products and team/group orders can only be ordered by calling, sending e-mail or directly at our store.
You don’t have to be a registered customer to place an order, but please be aware of the fact that the ordering and confirmation process is faster if you have logged in. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We are glad to answer all your questions regarding the orders.
Once you have placed your order, you can’t change it. However, if you want to change the order, please contact us immediately (09) 6121366 and we will check if the order is still changeable. Unfortunately we can never guarantee that it is possible to make changes in orders after they have been placed. Therefore we kindly ask you to always double check your order before you place it.
Gymnastica will send you an order confirmation to your e-mail address, when we have checked and approved your order. Please save this mail for possible future reference and need.
Payment terms
The purchase is paid at the local post office (Cash-on-delivery) or in our store when picking up the items. The payment method is chosen when placing the order.
Cities, companies and clubs have special customer payment terms.
Delivery and delivery costs
1a. Cash-on-delivery (Finland only) The products and delivery costs are paid to the nearest post office when picking up the package. You can pick up the package once you have received the notification of arrival. Please be prepared to verify your identity.

3. Pick-up from store You can pick up the products you have ordered from our store once you have received the notification of arrival. Items must be picked up at our store within 3 days after receiving the notification of arrival. If you choose ”Pick-up from store” as your delivery method, the product may be paid either when placing the order (online or Credit card) or when picking up the items. Pick-up is not possible for all products.
4. Delivery and payments outside Finland Delivery costs outside Finland will be verified separately by e-mail after the customer has placed the initial order. The customer is asked to log in again, check her/his shopping bag and accept the overseas delivery costs. The payment will be made on the website with Credit Card.
After receiving the notification of arrival you can pick up your package from the nearest post office. Large-sized gym products, and a few other products, are delivered directly from the factory to the customer.
Delivery time
Factor’s delivery time is between 1,5 weeks and 5 weeks, some products 2 months. Please contact our store before you place your order, if you need a product before a special occasion. When ordering multiple products and all products aren’t available in stock, the customer has to choose between partial or single delivery (shipping cost per package). We will contact the customer, if a partial delivery is actual.
If you have selected to pick up the products from out store, we will contact you when the items are available. Products must be collected from our shop within 3 days from receiving the notification of arrival.
Order restrictions
A person has to be 18 years old or above to be able to order products from Gymnastica’s website.
Right to retain an order
Gymnastica has the right to retain an order, if it is necessary.
Price mistakes
Gymnastica Ltd. detains the right to change an order if an obvious price mistake occurs. An obvious price mistake refers to a mistake in pricing, which has happened accidentally when pricing the product and which diverge significantly from the real price. When there is an obvious mistake in the price of a product, the customer is considered to understand the inaccuracy.
Obvious price mistakes are for example:
- if the price of the product is 0,00 euros or if the product does not have a price at all
- if the price of the product diverge significantly from the correct price, e.g. if a number is missing from the price.
Force majeure
Gymnastica Ltd. is not responsible for any delays or impediments caused by force majeure or other circumstances beyond the company’s influence and control. Force majeures are for example employee illness, import and export obstacles and traffic disruption. If the force majeure continues for more than three months, Gymnastica Ltd. as well as the customer, has the right to cancel an order without any compensation or delay sanctions.
Updating and changing the terms
Gymnastica Ltd. detains the right to update and change the Terms of Sale, when there is a reasonable explanation for that.
The responsibilities of the User and Service provider
These Terms of Use applies to Gymnastica Ltd.’s web store.
The web store is property of Gymnastica Ltd., Fredrikinkatu 22, 00120 Helsinki, Business ID: 1059726-9.
Using this web store requires that the customer has accepted the terms and conditions. A customer, who does not accept the terms below, cannot make orders online.
Gymnastica’s immaterial rights
All material on this website is property of Gymnastica or its cooperation partners. It is strictly forbidden to use or copy picture or text material that is shown on the website.
User
- The user has to follow the requirements in the Terms of Sale.
- The user agrees to use the web store according to the instructions.
- The user agrees to provide truthful information about him- or herself when he/she registers to the web store and he/she will inform Gymnastica about any inaccurate information.
- When ordering products the user accepts the Terms of Sale.
- The user is responsible for the consequences followed by unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
Service provider
- Gymnastica is responsible for the content of the web store.
- It is Gymnastica’s responsibility to check that the content on the web store is in accordance with Finnish law.
- Gymnastica has all the rights to change and update the content/rules on the website.
- Gymnastica is not responsible for any incorrect information given by external services or companies.
- Gymnastica is responsible for all collected information regarding the customers and does not share the information with third parties.
- Gymnastica is able to cancel an order or retain a customer relationship when necessary.
- Gymnastica always informs the authorities about misuse.

Legal basis and the purpose of processing personal data:
We collect personal data for taking care of customer relationships. The legal basis for processing personal data is a contract and the legal obligations followed by it. Handing your personal data is a requirement for the contract. In other words, you cannot place an order on our web shop without giving your personal data.
Personal data processed:
We only handle information produced by the user themselves, for example:

• invoice and/or delivery address
• phone number
• e-mail address
• purchase history
• IP-address
We also collect personal data for marketing purposes. The legal basis for processing personal data is the customer’s consent.

Please note that you have the right to request your personal data to be deleted, after which we will process your request and either delete data or give you a valid reason why we cannot delete data. In some cases we are legally obliged to keep processing personal data regarding you.
